Birthday Parties For 8 To 12: Small, But Still A Party

Not every birthday is thirty people. Plenty are eight to twelve: a group of close friends, a small team, or a family of two generations.

Groups this size tend to make one of two opposite mistakes — book a room too large and the evening feels empty while the hourly rate runs on, or book one too tight and there is nowhere for the cake or the photographs.

The right size for 8 to 12

The rule for a party is 2m² per person — calculated for people standing and moving, not sitting still. Twelve people need at least 24m².

But a minimum is only a minimum. If there is a cake, presents, and photographs in front of the LED wall, step up one size:

Room 2A2 Adam — 25m², 10 guests, 250,000đ per hour. Neat for a group of eight.

Room 302 Supreme — 30m², 12 guests, 300,000đ per hour.

Room 301 Eva — 40m², 12 guests, 350,000đ per hour. Noticeably roomier for the same headcount.

Room 1A1 Cinematic — 45m², 12 guests, 400,000đ per hour.

What the discount is worth at this scale

A small group means a small room rate, so the percentage produces a smaller figure — but the proportion is unchanged.

A birthday guest turning 30, room 302 Supreme, four hours: room rate 1,200,000đ, 30% off is 360,000đ.

A birthday guest turning 50, same room: 50% off is 600,000đ.

At exactly 30 the two offers are equal — choose by whichever day suits the group. Under 30, take the 12pm-10pm offer, Sunday to Thursday.

Three things to mention when booking

Whether you are bringing a cake. Say so in advance and a place is set for it, with plates and a knife, rather than improvising mid-evening.

Whether there will be photos or video. Send the file a day ahead and it is loaded on the LED wall.

Whether older guests are coming. So the room can be on a low floor near the lift, with the lighting set to soft.

A few practical points

The venue is open until 5am, so a group that wants to stay late is not asked to leave mid-evening. There is a private car park, free, with someone at the door to direct you. Microphones are UV-sterilised after every booking.
